I think you're going to get a lion's share of votes for Strasburg and Triple Threads, since they're the only baseball products in their category.

  5. I voted for Strasburg Red because of the Strasburg frenzy. I voted for Allen and Ginter because it was all the rage for a very long time. I voted for triple threads, but it was close with PP 5-Star racing. The edge went to baseball because I don't care for NASCAR.

    2010 A&G
    Topps Triple Threads

  7. Sickest card: I voted for the Strassburg Auto as well - the hype and mania surrounding Strassburg spilled over into the card market - and many of the "big name" news networks made mention of it.

Set of the Year: Most people who blog know how much I love (and collect) Allen & Ginter - so that's the easy choice here.

Mojo: My vote goes to Triple Threads.

I have a link on my blog now too.

  8. Here's my vote:
2010 Bowman Strasburg Red Auto 1/1
2010 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball
    2010 Topps Triple Threads

I loved the A&G this year, mainly because I pulled a Case hit auto/relic box loader of Lincecum that I was able to unload for $1500...

2010 Press Pass Five Star Racing Classic Compilations Dale Earnhardt Sr./Dale Jr. Patch Auto Booklet.

I will be plugging shortly and will send you the link. Thanks for a great contest.

  11. The envelope please...

Strasburg 1/1--the Strasmania was off the charts.

    2010 A&G--no contest

2010/11 ITG--why not, I saw some nice breaks on this product.

  12. I voted for;

    Triple Threads

2 of the 3 were ones that I nominated and who can argue with Strasmania.

  13. My votes:

Sick card - Strasburg of course. Four 1/1 cards drove the whole market, then the last one to be found kept it going all by itself. Even months after it was found, I was still able to sell a hobby box of Bowman on eBay for $150+

You telling me that's not sick, by any definition of sick that you choose?

Fan Favorite - Allen & Ginter. As I said before, any set that inspires its own annual month-long, net-wide contest has got to be pretty damn popular. No question about it, although Obak was a close second.

Mojo - Triple Threads. Someday, when I grow up, I'll be able to afford a box of Triple Threads.

  22. Sick card - Gretzky autographed SPx Shadowbox: Those SPx Shadowbox cards are some of the nicest cards ever produced... throw in the greatest hockey player and his autograph... it's hard to top that.

Fan Favorite - 2010/11 Score Hockey: I loved the 90/91 design... and this one is close to it. Eventually, I'm going to bust a few boxes of this stuff and build this set... it's going to be a blast.

Mojo - 2009/10 The Cup Hockey: This stuff is beautiful... sure you might pull an autograph of some no name... but then again you might pull a Gretzky autograph. If I could afford it... I might bust a box or two.

  56. I like the Strasburg card- I read that he's about three to four weeks from throwing a ball. That doesn't mean pitching, it means just throwing a frickin' ball. I like baseball so most of my picks were baseball related, except the best memorabilia box- I picked the 10-11 hockey, wishful thinking that I could get my hands on it.
