Under 12 hours and we already have enough interest to make this a possibility. Now for a sensitive question.
I would never ask you to purchase something as a condition of participating, but it would be MUCH better if you did. I understand some people just can't even spend an extra cent in this economy and certainly any kids here should consult their parents before answering yes to this next question because I don't want a Soupy Sales "Green Pieces of Paper' situation on my hands. (Don't know your TV history, look at the video at the end of this post to find out what I'm talking about.)
So if given the choice of buying a blaster of Topps 2011 baseball cards or receiving a "virtual blaster" from me (sending actual blasters to all would be prohibitive for me at this point, perhaps someday that will change) to play this game, which option would you take. Would you buy a blaster or use virtual cards.
Please understand, your answer in no way will affect your ability to get in on this game, so answer honestly by leaving a comment. Your answer will not be visible until I have read it so if you prefer not to have your answer published for all to see, please tell me in your comment and I will delete it after reading it.
I could do that.
ReplyDeleteI'm not putting Series 1 together, so I won't be buying a blaster. Virtual cards for me.
ReplyDeleteBuying a blaster wouldn't be a problem.
ReplyDeleteI would probably prefer buying a real blaster (because who doesn't like getting more cards) but a virtual one would probably work if the idea of your contest is to create a fantasy type team to compete against other teams.
ReplyDeleteA blaster is on my list of things to try this spring, but I'm not sure how close I am to this number on my list. I'd be willing to participate with a virtual set if I have not acquired my own by the "need date"
ReplyDeleteI could get a blaster (there really are no stores too close to get this)or stop at the local hobby store (5 minutes away) and pick up a few packs.
ReplyDeleteEither way is fine here.
ReplyDeleteI COULD buy a blaster if I need to, but it's a poor value for a set builder when compared to 4 rack packs.
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer virtual, but could probably do a real one.
ReplyDeletetrying to find a baseball blaster within 1000 kilometres of Calgary would be a magical feat in itself... would a Hockey blaster do? ;)
ReplyDeleteI do have access to hobby packs and jumbos at my lcs though......
ReplyDeleteI'd have to go with a virtual blaster. I've never purchased a blaster.
ReplyDeleteI'd buy one - but maybe an old one that has already been opened (and posted on my blog for instance) could count?
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer a virtual blaster.
ReplyDeleteBuying one wouldn't be too much of a problem.
ReplyDeleteWe'd do a real blaster.
ReplyDeleteI'd also prefer a virtual, but would buy one if it would help.
ReplyDeleteI'd be ok with getting a blaster.
ReplyDeleteI'd buy. No problem with that. I have an unopened blaster right here...
ReplyDeleteI could buy one if necessary.
ReplyDeleteVirtual is better for me, because I'm on a tight budget after many unforseen things to start the year.
ReplyDeleteI'm out of the country and have no way of buying a real blaster at this point, so I would vote virtual
ReplyDeletevirtual for me :)
ReplyDeleteI would buy a blaster.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter to me. Keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteI'd go with the actual factual blaster.
ReplyDeleteI'm a kid on a budget, virtual for me.
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer a virtual one
