2011 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Football Box Break Recap and Review

I always seem to do well with Absolute Memorabilia.  This year Panini has taken steps to provide an even better experience.  This is aided by a rookie class that is proving to be quick starters, already making names for themselves.  With jumbo patches floating around in these packs, 2011 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Football is looking good.

Panini Absolute Memorabilia Football falls towards the high end of our premium cards category.  Each box contains four pillow packs with 4 cards each. Each 4 pack box contains two autograph and two memorabilia cards.

Here are the cards we pulled from the box.

Base Cards

 Troy Polamalu, Front and Back

 Ndamukong Suh, Marchawn Lynch

 Cedric Benson, Hines Ward

 Matt Ryan, Kellen Winslow Jr.

 Reggie Wayne

Base Rookies - All rookies are numbered

Adrian Clayborn #/399, Robert Quinn #/399

 Jarvis Jenkins Spectrum #/50

Inserts

 DeSean Jackson Absolute Heroes #/100

The Hits

 Jeremy Kerley Spectrum Auto #/299

Peyton Hillis Spectrum Auto #/10

Titus Young Rookie Premiere Materials Prime #/5 (Looks like a laundry tag)

Kyle Rudolph Rookie Premiere Materials On-Card Auto #/49

Overall Look
I like these base cards. The photograph and styling blend well and continue to the backs of the cards.  The insert cards look great in hit form.  The RPM Rookie Autographs work very well as horizontal cards.

Quality and Variety of Players
This checklist is tight which is appreciated when there are only 16 cards to a full box.  The major rookie hits with relic/auto combos have been reduced to the most desirable rookies.

Do the Hits satisfy?
Absolutely. (Had to do it.)  We didn’t have the biggest hits in our box but I was still happy with all four hits.

Will you keep coming back for more?
As I said before, these cards are on the high end of the Premium category, so for those who have the means, getting a case of these will seem reasonable.

Rating
