2011 Topps Precision Football NFL Trading Cards Box Break Recap and Review

Topps has a brand new offering with 2011 Topps Precision Football.  With a tight checklist and several multi-autograph card configurations, Precision offers the chance at some really nice pulls.

Precision Football falls into our premium cards category.  Each hobby box contains 4 mini boxes with 4 cards and the promise of one autograph card per mini box. Here are the cards we pulled from our box.

 Greg Jennings, front and back

Tony Romo, Tom Brady, Tim Hightower

Steven Jackson, Sidney Rice, Shonn Greene

Phil Simms, Josh Freeman, Maurice Jones-Drew

 Earl Campbell, Cedric Benson

Kendall Hunter Autograph Relic #/50, Vincent Brown On-Card Auto

Arrelious Benn Auto, Jerome Bettis Auto

Overall Look
The design of this set is solid with crisp text and nice layout.  The Rookie Autos provide nice spacing for the on-card autographs.

Quality and Variety of Players
This is a small but quality checklist with very desirable players signing autographs.

Do the Hits satisfy?
Yes.  We got a nice mix of the proven and potential.  Not that this has anything to do with Topps, but as a side note, I really wish players like Arrelious Benn would learn to spell their names instead of just slapping down their initials.  Seriously, this kind of autographs are one letter away from someone just marking the card with an X.

Will you keep coming back for more?
It is easy to see Precision as a multiple box purchase.
