Contest Time For Week 2 Of The 2012 NFL Season And Our Panini Sticker Album

It is a little early, but I’m kicking our participation in the 2012 Panini America Player of the Day promotion into high gear.  By answering our questions of the week, which I will get to later in this post, you will be entered to win one of the many fantastic prizes that Panini will be supplying to us like autographs, cards and other goodies.  For your entry to be eligible, you have to be following us either
here on the blog, or on our facebook page or on twitter, or as many of those places as you please.  Why do you think that is?  It is because if you don’t, it is next to impossible to find you if you become one of our winners.  For our last contest I actually had someone enter as “Anonymous” without any further details.  Not sure who wins the prize in that case.

Our Panini NFL Stickers Players to Watch returns this week with a twist.  In what will be the All About Cards’ version of Fantasy Football, you get the opportunity to give your insight by selecting with featured player you think will have the best fantasy stats for the week.   If you choose correctly you will earn additional entries in the NFL POD promotion.  I will be using standard fantasy stats from NFL.com to determine the winners.  But this week I’m going to be nice about it.  Just your guess, alone, will automatically get an entry into our prize pool regardless of whether your guess is correct.  Guess the player with the most fantasy points this week and you get an additional entry on top of that.  And I’ll give you a bonus challenge question good for an additional entry.  So here are this week’s Panini NFL Stickers Players to Watch.

This week I will be concentrating on Monday Night’s game between the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons.  Normally I have 3 players to watch, but this week to further increase your chances of getting things right, I will only feature 2 players.  So you’ve got a 50/50 chance of getting one of those bonus entries.

Our featured players for Week 2 are Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan.
If you were on the fence about Peyton Manning’s ability to come back after a year on the sidelines, most of those doubts should be gone after his performance against the Steelers last week.  He looked good throwing for 253 yards with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions.  The Falcons defense can be a little loose.  They gave up 258 yards in the air and 2 touchdowns to Matt Cassel of the Kansas City Chiefs last week.  If Denver goes to the no huddle, those numbers could be even bigger for Manning.

Matt Ryan is coming of a tremendous week, throwing for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns.  He also ran one in himself for a TD.  He finished the game with 32.46 fantasy points, the highest total of any player last week.  He will be at home in primetime so expect another great showing by Ryan.

So, for a guaranteed entry in our NFL POD contest chose one of the following, either comment below if you follow us here on the blog, or leave a comment on our facebook page with the link to this post if you like us there, or tweet us @AllAboutCards if you follow us on Twitter with your answer to these questions.

1 – Who will have the most fantasy points for Monday Night’s Game, Manning or Ryan?

2 – As a bonus question, how many total yards will Manning and Ryan throw for combined?  If your answer is within 25 yards either way, you get the bonus entry.

One guess per person, period. For example, if you leave your answers on Facebook, do not tweet them on Twitter, or comment on this blog.  Multiple guesses will lead to all of your answers being disqualified.

You may enter your answers up until the first kickoff of Monday night’s Broncos/Falcons game.  Any guesses after that will not count.

So that does it for this week’s featured stickers.  Here are the other stickers that will be added to our 2012 Panini Sticker Collection album this week.
