2012 Panini Score Football NFL Trading Cards Box Break Recap And Review

With the evolution of sports cards moving towards bigger and bigger hits, the dedicated set builder can often be overlooked.  So when a card set of 300 base cards, 100 rookie cards with a wide variety of inserts is released that is offered at $0.99 a pack, set builders should take note.  2012 Panini Score Football delivers this and more

Overall Look
Score Football still has that simple, solid look, but it has been slightly refashioned to add more appeal. The inserts look really good too.

Quality and Variety of Players.
300 veteran players and 100 rookies makes for a really nice checklist.   Insert cards also offer some great players.

Do the hits hold up?
If you can pull an autograph, yeah, there are some great hits to be had, but this is more about building the set at a reasonable price point.

Will you want to collect them all?
That really is the whole point of Score.   This set works for a wide range of collectors from those new to collecting to veteran set builders.

Rating
 4 1/2 out of 5

2012 Panini Score Football look great while providing set builders an inexpensive way to construct a full set.

  1. I'll never buy a box, unless it's unbelievably cheap. But I must say, I really like the simple base card design. The full helmet logo is a nice touch. Kudos to Panini.
