2012-13 Panini Timeless Treasures Basketball Box Break Recap And Review

That familiar tin, almost seems unfair to call it a box break, but a tin break doesn’t sound right either.  No matter what you call it, 2012-13 Panini Timeless Treasures Basketball is a great break with cards that are pushing the innovative envelope.  With the added value of a double rookie season and the continuation of the Kobe Antholgy, Timeless Treasure should be on your purchase list.

We classify Timeless Treasures as premium cards.  Each hobby box/tin contains 5 cards with the promise of three hits and at least two autographs per box/tin.

Overall Look

With a refined design in stunning black with copper accents, there is some really nice design here. Hit cards look great too.  The clear oversized stickers on acetate imbedded in a die cut to simulate a backboard works fantastically.

Quality and Variety of Players

Because of the double rookie class, this does lean towards the newest in the league but the rest of the checklist provides some nice balance.

Do the Hits satisfy?

While my particular tin doubled up on the glass rookie autos, there is plenty of variety and big name to satisfy.

Will you keep coming back for more?

The reasonable entry price point makes this an easy multiple box/tin purchase.
