2012 Panini Signature Series Baseball Box Break Recap And Review

The ever-expanding slate of Panini Baseball products extends to prospecting on a premium level with an easier per box commitment with 2012 Panini Signature Series Baseball.  At 3 hits and a total of 6 cards per box, this is clearly intended for a fast break with a reasonable amount of risk, but there is plenty of opportunity for some really nice pulls.

Signature Series Baseball falls into our premium cards category.  Each box contains 6 cards with 3 Autograph cards per box.

Here are the cards from our box.

Overall Look
Panini has chosen to accentuate the positive of a MLBPA and Hall of Fame licenses, eliminate the negative of not having the MLB license that would allow the use of team names and logos.  Using bold portraits, the cards come of looking good, but the hit cards are where this product excels, as it should/

Quality and Variety of Players
While there is a 100-card commons base set with an additional rookies for the base set, expectation should be set to pull prospecting cards.

Do the Hits satisfy?
If you pull one of the big hits, most definitely. Signature Series is still a roll the dice because of its 3 hit, 6card setup, some boxes will still a be a bust, but there are enough mid level hits to spread the risk and is in line with expectations for a premium card release.

Will you keep coming back for more?
The real advantage here is the modest price point, giving collectors who are normally one and done a chance to make multiple purchases without breaking the bank.
