As in past years, Opening Day essentially mimics Topps Series
1 & 2 for base card design, but then offers a lot of great inserts. At its low price point, Opening Day is
a bargain that always seems to hit its mark. While it might skew towards younger collectors, there is
still enough here for experienced collectors. 2013 Topps Opening Day Baseball is a lot of fun and perfect
for set building.
Opening Day could easily fit into both our fun cards and
trading cards categories, but for the purpose of this review, we will classify
Opening Day as fun cards. Opening
Day can be found in many different retail configurations. We opened a complete box that contained
36 packs with 7 cards per pack.
There are autographs to be found in Opening Day, but they are rare to
find.
