Signature Sunday Focuses On 2015 Topps Series 1 Baseball Autograph Cards.

Clearly this week's Signature Sunday was going to be all about 2015 Topps Series One Baseball Autograph Cards. Collectors and Box Breakers have been attaching packs in large numbers. Autographs are making their way into collector's hands and eBay listings. A good sign has been autos have been selling briskly on the "Bay" and stratospheric prices seem to be leveling in to the reasonable range.

So lets take a look at some of these autographs.

Career High Autographs.

Out of all of the autographs, these are the most common. But don't mistake their availblilty as meaning they are any less desirable. Look at some of the names who appear

Sandy Koufax, Yasiel Puig, John Smoltz

Giancarlo Stanton, Jacob deGrom, Rusney Castillo

That's just a small sampling. A complete checklist is below. These are sticker autos, as are most of the flagship hits are this year, but the design and sticker integration work very well. They can also be had for very reasonable prices on the secondary market.

Design here looks great too. While limited in players, the checklist, found below, is a really good one.

Once again, a limited checklist, just 5 players, but a good one.

Gallery of Greats Autographs

A good percentage of these autos appear to be redemptions, but some are live. We've seen McGwire and Piazza. Word from those that have had them in hand is they look fantastic in person.  These also appear to be one of the few cards signed on-card.

Highlight of the Year Autographs

The boldness of this look is very appealing. This one has a slightly larger checklist. There are also Ernie Banks & Stan Musial autos to be found here.

Inspirations Dual Autographs

Two signers per card, only 5 cards on the checklist, with one variation between availability on auto only and auto relic. Retired stars with Veteran Stars make these very nice combo cards.

Post Season Performance Autos

This is a vary simple design with some of the top players in the game signing.

Spring Fever Promo Cards

I have to say, seeing these cards on eBay surprised me. Spring Fever was a promotion run last year to encourage collectors to visit their local card shop. That program returns again this year but is not supposed to start until next week. Either that's changed or someone is releasing these way early. Design is less busy this year.

Strata Signature Relics

So far the only live Strata Auto, and we are not talking about the Cut Auto Version, is Mike Piazza. It's early, but a lot of them appear to be redemptions. This too is an on-card auto.

World Champion Autographs

Again a five player checklist. All Giants (which makes sense) Belt, Crawford, Pence, Panik & Sandoval.
